PRIDE HALL
The images below show the construction of a new student residence hall called Pride Hall. Its bordered by Benbow Road , Lutheran Street and Highway 29. This $12M design/build/develop project with Maxam Construction includes 439 suite-style beds. The vision for the project is to provide learning units in a multiuse facility. Unit mix is approximately 63% single, 37% double. Most suites include two bathrooms, single-bed rooms, and a common living area. The building provides student amenities including study rooms, computer rooms, storage rooms, and laundry facilities. The overall "building image" is critical to the success of the project and the overall University image. This project will be complete in August 2004 in time for the fall semester.
